My wife and I worked with Lisa for 2 transactions this year and she was fantastic. I wanted to take the opportunity to commend Lisa Westerman for her assistance in selling a home that myself and my siblings recently inherited after our father’s passing.
It is a long story and I will try to be brief. Essentially, my siblings and I learned that we had been deeded the home we grew up in shortly before my dad's passing last May. Prior to learning that we were to inherit the home, I had been prompting my parents to sell and use the proceeds for their own care for many years. The home began to fall in disrepair and once my mom had moved to Connecticut after my dad's passing we knew we had to do something with the property. Once my siblings and I agreed it was time to sell, I recommended Lisa. My wife and I used her when we bought our current home approximately 15 years ago. She was our selling agent at the time but went out of her way then to help us find the home we live in and love presently.
My parents’ house was a mess. I was ashamed to even ask Lisa but knew her character and how efficient and effective she was. Lisa looked at the home and put together a plan in no time at all. After the house was cleaned out (with Lisa's assistance through a very kind referral for home cleanouts) she came by, took pictures, performed and shared a market analysis, and priced and listed the home. Before we knew it, she had a number of interested parties lined up to view the home. In a matter of days an offer was made that we all agreed on. Lisa again assisted in referring several real estate attorneys she had worked with in the area.
This may sound pretty straight forward so far. I can assure you that Lisa was the ONLY steady and solid resource throughout this entire process. I got a crash course in Quitclaim deeds, Life Estates, betterments and various other nuances that Lisa patiently assisted us with. Lastly there was the issue of my family. My younger sister and I live locally, my younger brother whom we have not spoken with in years was a wild card, and my older sister in Connecticut can be...difficult. On several occasions I was both ashamed and afraid that Lisa might wipe her hands and walk away. She dug in and got us through this.
"Thank you" does not begin to do justice for the gratitude I have for Lisa. I don't know if this letter will make a difference in any way but want you to know you have a hell of a realtor in her.
On a side note- I am a fire fighter in a city and work with probably close to a dozen realtors I could have chosen, I know now that I absolutely made the right decision in hiring Lisa.

Lisa was a great help in all aspects of the sale. We had little knowledge of how to sell a house and she guided us through the entire process. Her online presentation and virtual tour were great. The website marketing was a big factor in choosing Lisa as our agent. She also gave us ideas and suggestions for staging the home. Not sure how to express in words the level of satisfaction and gratitude I feel toward Lisa Westerman.
